All School Musical

elem_performingartsElementary students at Christian Life School have a few opportunities to develop musically and dramatically by participating in quality musicals on stage. Every elementary student participates in a musical. Fourth and fifth grade students present a musical in November and first, second and third grade students present one in late February or early March. These musicals involve sets, costuming, choreography, singing and acting. Each year the high school presents a full Broadway-style musical and elementary students are encouraged to audition for any children’s roles or children’s chorus parts. Those musicals are in mid-March.

elem_bandPlaying a musical instrument and participating in a musical organization provides a life long appreciation and enjoyment of music for students, in addition to fostering intellectual, creative, and personal growth, a sense of personal accomplishment and self-confidence. The band program at Christian Life Schools begins in 5th grade and provides each young musician an opportunity to learn to play a school band instrument. Each student will participate in a full band rehearsal that is scheduled weekly with the Band Director.
